Autumn begins, missing the chance to say goodbye.

This past weekend, my six-week online workshop officially kicked off. I’m thrilled to embark on this journey with over 200 friends.

In this workshop, there were several numbers that surprised me:

My first workshop was in the spring of 2022, targeting overseas professionals, but 28% of the participants who signed up were based in China.

This was somewhat unexpected to me, but upon reflection, it makes sense. Many of the participants are friends who work in foreign companies in China or plan to go abroad. After one workshop, several classmates indeed ended up in the United States.

This autumn, the theme of my talk remains overseas careers, but this time, the participants have spread across the globe. The majority are from mainland China, followed by North America, with others from Europe, Japan, Australia, the Philippines, and Peru.

I think this is also one of the meanings of such workshops—to be classmates with friends from all over the world.

In the first workshop, nearly half of the participants had work experience in two or more countries, and the industries they came from were also highly diverse. This time is no different—we have friends from IT, healthcare, finance, scientific research, education and training, and many other fields. In fact, to some extent, the industry each person ends up in is a matter of chance, so thank you all for not giving up on your search along your own paths.

The workshop has no restrictions on age, experience, or industry. Just like the first time, the participants’ ages and experience levels span a wide range. Most friends have 10 years or more of work experience, and quite a few have 15 or even 20 years or more. On the other end, there are always a few students still in school who participate each time. I think for the relatively younger friends, this should be a precious opportunity to walk alongside many experienced friends. Many things in life may seem like they can be accelerated, but in the end, time is fair—many things simply require time to understand and experience. So I am also very happy to walk alongside so many friends who are constantly reflecting and seeking change on their life journeys.

Our students joked that this class group is like a top-tier business school setup. Actually, it's not—business schools have a much younger average age. This is more like a senior business school, haha.

Due to the number of registrations quickly reaching the planned limit, we have closed the registration channel ahead of schedule. We sincerely apologize to the many applicants who submitted their registrations in the final days but could not be accommodated this time. I will continue to offer workshops next year, and although the exact timing has not yet been determined, students who wish to participate in the next session can pre-register by scanning the QR code on the poster below the article and paying a deposit to secure a spot for the next workshop. The deposit is expandable—$100 can be deducted as $200 toward the tuition fee. If you are unable to attend the next workshop, the deposit is fully refundable.

This workshop featured 9 volunteers who had previously participated in the first session, serving as teaching assistants. After hearing their introductions, everyone exclaimed that they were an "all-star teaching assistant team."

As today's Easter egg, let me show you the introduction to the teaching assistant team.

I came to the United States to earn a master's degree, worked as a data analyst for 18 years, and later transitioned to a full-time real estate agent.

I participated in the first and second workshops and felt I gained a lot. I look forward to growing together with everyone in this session.
